If you're just getting started with open education or you'd like to learn more about OER, CC Licenses, open pedagogy, and more, consider joining the next cohort of the Open Champions course! 

The ALPA Open Champions course is an asynchronous certificate course that introduces educators and those working in higher education to the OER conversation to spark interest in Open Education initiatives on their campus and within their discipline. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in discussions with peers in the cohort and learn from experienced users of OER on topics related to finding and integrating OER, licensing and copyright, open pedagogy, and accessibility. Those who complete the course will receive a digital certificate and digital badge.

The ALPA Open Champions course offers:

• Flexible Learning: Access course materials at your own pace, anytime and anywhere.

• Expert Insights: Learn from experienced educators and OER specialists.

• Interactive Content: Engage with multimedia resources, discussions, and practical activities.

• Certification: Receive a certificate and signature badge upon successful completion of the course.

Registration information will be available when our next cohort is ready to begin. Cohorts typically begin during the summer.
